Among the special collections held at the New London Town Archives are photographic images donated by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and professional photographers. These images give us periodic glimpses of New London's scenery, structures, celebrations, and citizens from the 1880s to the present day.
In 2008 we began digitizing all photographs and maps in our collection so that they might become more accessible to those interested in the visual history and development of New London. We now have over ten thousand images in our database—all available to visitors at the Archives. Here online we offer virtual exhibits for those who can't visit in person. We hope you enjoy them.
